June 5 @ 1:30 pm - 2:15 pm

Dsp MagnetWe are excited to announce that DSP Magnet, formerly Blitz Media, and ACCSES are partnering to present a series of workshops directly for current and future front-line supervisors of direct support professionals.  Each workshop is scheduled to run for 45 minutes.  The cost for each workshop is $35 per person.

DSP Magnet is a leader in supporting disability service providers in their efforts to recruit and retain direct support professionals.  Each workshop will provide opportunities for front-line supervisors to collaborate with other front-line supervisors from across the country to work through exercises and to discuss concerns, opportunities, and ideas.  Watch the video below for more information from DSP Magnet’s Scott de Fasselle.

Thursday, June 5th at 1:30 pm ET – How to Hold People Accountable When You’re Short-Staffed

When you’re short-staffed, and some of the staff you do have aren’t doing what they should, it’s easy to feel trapped. You feel the pressure of wanting staff to do what they should. But you worry about them getting angry and quitting. Then you’re left with another open shift to try and cover. You’ll do a practical exercise to help you feel confident and help staff rise to the standards you expect.
