Every summer, representatives from Disability Service Providers and their supporters from across the country gather in Washington, DC, to learn and discuss the most pressing public policy issues facing the advancement and empowerment of the people with disabilities they serve every day.  The ACCSES Annual Conference is packed full with policy briefings, breakout sessions, Hill advocacy, and Q&A with policy makers.  This year's Annual Conference will feature a full-day Workshop on the new Home and Community-Based Services regulation from CMS.  Participate in this Workshop to learn how the new regulation will directly affect your daily operations and what you need to know to be prepared.  This year's Workshop's primary presenter is Bobby Silverstein from the ACCSES legislative team.

We Want YOU to be a part of this year's Annual Conference!

Don't miss the opportunity to...

Learn from Policy Leaders: Engage directly with policy experts on topics ranging from Medicaid to education, AbilityOne to the Affordable Care Act, and state use programs to pressing disability employment issues

Network with Peers: Meet other providers, state associations, and state use program managers from around the country to share your challenges and successes.

Grow Your Organization:  Participate in breakout sessions aimed at business development delivered by experts and executives from Disability Service Providers.

Take Action: Participate in Hill activities to bring a coordinated message to Capital Hill on solutions to issues facing Disability Service Providers and the people you serve.

Workshop on the new CMS Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Regulation:  Many questions still surround the CMS HCBS regulation and how it will directly affect individuals and the providers who serve them.  States are already making assumptions based on the new regulation in their State Plans and so are many providers.  Participate in this year's training to learn how the new regulation will directly affect your organization and what you can do to be prepared for the changes coming, including how to advocate in your state and educate state officials about what the regulation really means and not what they assume it means.
Package your conference registration with the workshop and save $50.
